Design Verification Engineer to Consilium

Interested in developing exciting products and safety systems for fire and gas detection? Do you want to be part of an agile cross-functional team working with defining and building test rigs, working closely with skilled software developers, system engineers and hardware developers? We are now looking for an experienced Design Verification Engineer to join our R&D team in Gothenburg.

As a Design Verification Engineer at Consilium Marine & Safety AB, you will work in an agile cross-functional team, working with defining and building test rigs. You will be responsible for evaluating functionality and performance as well as develop methods, various verification tools, techniques, and strategies. Furthermore, you will create and run manual and automatic test cases and define verification requirements. Finally, you will be responsible for automating the verification to improve the functional coverage of current and future architectures and functions, as well as report results and outcomes with suggestions for improvements. The Gothenburg R&D team consists of around 30 people and work closely with other development teams in Europe.

What we are looking for?
We believe you have a degree in electronics, computer science or equivalent, combined with some years of relevant work experience. You have knowledge in embedded systems and product development for electronic systems. We need you to bring programming skills, preferably with knowledge in Python programming as well as basic knowledge in LabView programming. If you have experience of troubleshooting and problem solving it is preferably. Good communication skills in English are a requirement, and preferably you speak Swedish as well.
